(mysterious music) – [Woman] Black holes are among the most fascinating
objects in our universe, and also the most mysterious. A black hole is a region in space where the force of gravity is so strong, not even light, the fastest known entity in our universe, can escape. The boundary of a black hole
is called the event horizon, a point of no return, beyond
which we truly cannot see. When something crosses the event horizon, it collapses into the
black hole’s singularity, an infinitely small,
infinitely dense point where space, time, and the laws
of physics no longer apply. Scientists have theorized
several different types of black holes, with stellar
and supermassive black holes being the most common. Stellar black holes
form when massive stars die and collapse. They’re roughly 10 to 20
times the mass of our sun, and scattered throughout the universe. There could be millions of
these stellar black holes in the Milky Way alone. Supermassive black holes
are giants by comparison, measuring millions,
even billions of times, more massive than our sun. Scientists can only guess how they form, but we do know they exist at the center of just about every large
galaxy, including our own. Sagittarius A, the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way, has a mass of roughly four million suns, and has a diameter about the distance between the earth and our sun. Because black holes are invisible, the only way for scientists to detect and study them is to observe their effect on nearby matter. This includes accretion disks, a disk of particles that
form when gases and dust fall toward a black hole, and quasars, jets of particles that blast out of supermassive black holes. Black holes remained largely
unknown until the 20th century. In 1916, using Einstein’s
general theory of relativity, a German physicist named
Karl Schwartzschild calculated that any mass
can become a black hole if it were compressed tightly enough. But it wasn’t until 1971
when theory became reality. Astronomers studying
the constellation Cygnus discovered the first black hole. An untold number of black holes are scattered throughout the universe, constantly warping space and time, altering entire galaxies,
and endlessly inspiring both scientists and our
collective imagination.

Pag papasuk doon ang inbento nila tiyakapa bubuksan yong gadget namay miron camer, at doon na nila makikita kung anung miron sa loob nang blackhole.   7. Different dimensions may be co existing with out intracting each other and somehow matter and energy leked to our dimension as big bang expansion. Chance is that our expanding universe is just a return of that matter and energy back to that dimension.( Imagination only)

  12. You said that star dies it will create black hole. The question is what about the big bang theory when it exploded there's a black hole? If there's a black hole it may be the largest? I think black hole is older than big bang look at the universe its completely dark when the star collapse and the most important how that star created if the particles are form when after it collapse? I am Filipino and so curios how universe started

    You sad that by comprising mattter hardly we can make a black hole but i have studied that if we compress a matter and compress then there will be a time we can't compress it

  21. how do we know what black holes look like ? we only have 1 picture in history but we have 0 even close to us…the only star that we have in Are solar system is the sun ! Does that mean the sun can explode and turn into a black hole ?

  22. Black holes are not easily observed. But a picture of a black hole was posted on SNS a few months ago. Watching it, I felt a sense of wonder and wonder. I want to be a space scientist and see the mysterious phenomenon of the universe.

  23. Black holes are not holes deep into the gravitational wave. The existence of gravitational wave is questionable! It is also believed that every celestial body within the universe is sitting on the gravitational wave! Really? Where is the spot that the earth is sitting on the gravitational wave that is inaccessible to anyone? None. Don't be silly the earth's atmosphere is so flimsy that how could it support the weight of the entire earth while sitting on the gravitational wave? A dying massive star will turn into a black hole that is running out of nuclear fuel. The dissipated heat especially within the core of the star is diminishing due to almost running out nuclear fuel that atoms are no longer kept at arm length from one another in which those atoms are crashing against one another under their own immense weight that they first reduce to quarks before reduce further to preons, elementary particles, where positive preons surrounded with negative preons to form a sturdy, dense superstructure. Therefore a black hole is a very dense celestial body that its gravitational pull is so strong that light can't  even "escape" from it. It's not true that photons can't escape from it since two jets of dynamic photons and debris being ejected perpendicular from the superstructure on both sides of the accretion disk. Black hole appeared to be dark patches because visible light will be skimmed and distorted by its strong gravitational pulls. Some truly dense black holes with billions times the mass of the sun still having the same structure, namely superstructure therefore preons should be elementary particles where no matter how hard the crunching preons can't be reduced to other particles any further. On earth, only existence of quarks have been proven experimentally, not preons. But the existence of black holes help us to know the existence of preons, elementary particles. The reason of the existence of black holes is to consolidate mass as the universe expanding further in which continuous weakening of gravitational has been countered by the presence of black holes. As the universe is aging further, the proliferation of black holes  will take place. Black holes are expected to disintegrate apart during mid of imminent implosion before Big Bang explosion. Preons within a black hole will continue to strengthen their intrinsic magnetic field as more and more universal gravitational potential energy has been transformed to kinetic energy and to hasten intrinsic spin of preons as the black hole is imploding towards the center of the universe. As continuous strengthening intrinsic magnetic field of preons eventually emancipating them before they would form into quarks before transforming into atoms. This is how black holes disintegrating apart to pave way for Big Bang explosion. "Black  holes" and all celestial bodies that imploding towards the center of the universe for thousands billions years in which before they almost reaching the center of the universe their velocities could be several times the speed of light. Therefore the scene of Big Bang explosion is beyond our imagination.  All celestial bodies have tremendous kinetic energy after Big Bang explosion that enable the entire universe to expanding further in already vast visible universe. We don't need the existence of dark energy to help explain why expansion of the universe is still taking place in already vast visible universe.
