Dream On – Postmodern Jukebox ft. Morgan James (Aerosmith Cover)

Every time I look in the mirror All these lines on my face getting clearer The past is gone It went by like dusk to dawn Isn’t that the way Everybody’s got their dues to pay Yeah I know nobody knows Where it comes and where it goes I know it’s everybody’s sin You’ve got to lose to know how to win Half my life’s in books’ written pages Lived and learned from fools and from sages You know it’s true All the things come down to you Sing with me, sing for the years Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears Sing with me, if just for today Maybe tomorrow the good Lord take you away Sing with me, sing for the years Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears Sing with me, if just for today Maybe tomorrow the good Lord take you away Dream on, dream on, dream on Dream ’til your dream comes true Dream on, dream on, dream on Dream ’til your dream comes true Dream on, dream on Dream on Dream on Dream on, dream on Dream Sing with me, sing for the years Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears Sing with me, if just for today Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

  1. Postmodern jukebox
    Singing rock and roll songs
    Like standards…..
    Genius…..
Even if one doesn't get it at first…
By the fifth listening of any cover
The listener will be a postmodern jukebox fan

  2. Big shout out for the cello solo! Amazing performance, Morgan James is on fire, but the whole arrangement if stunning.

  3. She's just loud for the sake of being loud. Kind of raped the song for me. Still like the piano version as tribute for the Boston marathon best. 🙂

  4. Sorprendente voz en un cover de un tema de una banda con mucha trayectoria, como alguien decía por ahi parece que la cantante no respira.
