  1. Sure, but NYC and Montauck don't get any new representatives or Senators. They just get to be separate tax districts and pay for their own illegal aliens.

  2. I like how NYCers argue against the split and then bring up a myth that they support the rest of the state, instead of being a burden on it. If they were so sure that the majority of their money was used elsewhere outside NYC then they'd be all for the Divide New York Plan. But they know that it's not true. They know that NYC would have to curb their spending on waste without the priority access to rest of the state's resources. So yes, split the state into three autonomous districts. Make NYC use their own funds for their careless, wasteful, 'liberal' spending habits.
