New program to help first year nurses at Rochester Regional


>>Rochester Regional Health has a new
program designed to help first-year nurses. The nurse residency program aims
to ease the transition for newly graduated nurses from the classroom to a
clinical environment. It’s also an effort to reduce turnover rates.>>There was
nothing like this for me when I started. We get into nursing because we love what
we do. We love taking care of people but transitioning from school into that
clinical environment can be very it’s it’s different. It’s very very
different.>>The one-year program launches this November at Rochester Regional
Health five area hospitals.
