put up or shut up question number nine Clayton little Thank You mr. speaker my question is to the Minister for regional economic development and asks what progress has been made on the provisional Growth Fund the Honourable Shane Jones mr. speaker the rate of progress is best described as blistering because the provincial growth plan is a cornerstone policy of the coalition agreement between labor and New Zealand first and more will be announced in guzmán where poverty bei feels the love on Friday speaker how will the provincial growth fund benefit New Zealand provinces speaker for many of the provinces moving from a historically comatose state under the last regime they mr. speaker in particular title Kido tied RPG Munro to fajn and we in West Coast will be early recipients of well-thought-out well-tested project financing options to address historical infrastructure neglect and a host of other projects that have been gathering mould on on the shelves over the last nine years will the fund be available to all provinces whilst there are some surge areas surge areas such as the West the East the south and the north Christchurch Auckland and Wellington at this stage are not conceived to be target provinces but every other province is more than welcome to make an application and they will find a great deal in contrast to the last nine years friendliness and finance Christine number 10 Melissa Lee point of order mr. speaker a point of order Melissa Lee
